Nepal is known for its hills and mountains, but many visitors are surprised by how beautiful the lowlands bordering India are in the Terai. The Chitwan National Park is a gem on the Terai. It has a very successful program for breeding one-horned rhinoceroses, and almost everyone who goes on safari sees one of these beautiful animals as well as other animals. This tour gives you enough time to see the best parts of Chitwan.

Day 01: Arrival in Nepal
When you arrive at the Kathmandu airport, your guide will be waiting with your name sigh at the exit gate. Your guide will transfer you to the booked hotel and assist you with all hotel check-in procedures, after which you are free to relax. In addition, if time allowed, there will be a brief summary of the entire program.

Day 02: Travel to Chitwan.
After breakfast, we will drive around five hours to Chitwan National Park in order to begin your Chitwan package vacation from Kathmandu. It is the largest zoo in Nepal and even all of South Asia. Our guide will assist you with check-in at the exclusive jungle resort hotel upon your arrival. There is lunch service at the resort. After lunch, we go for village tour.

Day 03: Jungle Safari Activities in Chitwan.
Breakfast and we stant our jungle safari tour. This is a day you'll never forget: a whole day spent on safari! All wildlife activities are accompanied by a knowledgeable naturalist who imparts information about the natural world. Chitwan National Park is home to the bigger one-horned rhinoceros, spotted deer, and sambar deer, in addition to an abundance of birds. There is even a potential of spotting a leopard, sloth bear, or Royal Bengal tiger with a little luck."

Day 04: Canoe Ride and Fly back to Kathmandu.
After breakfast this morning, walk down to the river's boat ramp and hop on a traditional longboat. This is a great time to watch birds and look for crocodiles, rhinos, and sometimes even tigers on the riverbanks. Afternoon we fly back to Kathmandu.

Day 05: Departure from Nepal
After breakfast, we will pick you up and take you to the airport for your flight back to home. Thank you very much for traveling with us. We hope you had a good time and can't wait to.

Win Win Win; Let Raj and team coordinate your journey
Personalized and professional: cannot recommend Raj and his team with Getaway Nepal Adventures highly enough. Raj provides tremendous value. He helped us plan a 12-day trip that covered exactly what we wanted to do. From advising about visas and meeting us at the airport, to staying in touch without ever being intrusive, he always made sure we were settled and had all our questions answered; he kept in close contact throughout, and even called our guides a couple times a day. His team of guides and drivers is excellent (shout out to Shyam and Kaaka!), and they’ve worked together for years. Raj was also able to make adjustments and accommodate last-minute changes to our itinerary seamlessly. Accommodations he chose were top-notch. The cooking class was great. Our trekking guide Shyam taught us how to play Tigers and Goats, treated us to special Nepalese treats in Pokhara, took us to special spots, and was always cheerful.
Raj, I think, is the face of new Nepal; he deserves support, and getting him to help you with your trip will make a journey to Nepal much richer. We love Raj!
I went to Nepal with a team of clinicians and counseling students to provide training and continuing education to a group of social workers and professional counselors working in Nepal with trauma survivors. Raj was incredibly kind and helpful with securing us safe and affordable accommodations and providing us with fun and interesting cultural activities. He organized everything flawlessly and seemingly appeared out of nowhere every time we needed him. He was always early, eager to help, and wonderfully knowledgeable about the area attractions and activities.
When a friend and I stayed for an extra 2 days beyond the rest of our group’s departure, Raj recommended and arranged a trip to Bardia National Park for us. He got us a beautiful room in a wonderful resort which included all meals and 2 jeep safaris. The resort staff were all wonderful and it was clear that Raj had instructed them to treat us well! When we ran into an issue of a misplaced passport on our way home, Raj was on the phone with the embassy and already working to resolve the issue so we could get home. Luckily, we located the passport before we got back to Kathmandu and were able to get home without issue.
I can’t say enough good things about how kind, helpful, and knowledgeable Raj is! I need one of him in every country!

The best guided journey ever!
dear readers, getawayNepal and Raj made Nepal unforgettable for me. I found Getawaynepal through reviews and after one first email from Raj I immediately had confidence in him. During my journey this has only increased. Raj is a sweet, friendly man and always keeps his promises. Above all, he is very flexible, even if you want to change something in the itinerary. He always inquired if I was okay. I indicated what I wanted to do in Nepal and he responded very well to that. The Homestay in Panauti was very nice. The cooking class in momos, the yoga with the women of the village, the evening meeting with a Nepalese dance performance and the walks through the village with the daughter of the house, all equally fun and interesting. Then to the monastery in Namobuddha where I stayed for 6 days. Beautiful surroundings, eating and praying with the monks, and a whole experience. The tours in Kathmandu and Bhaktapur with the many historical sites were impressive, hotels were good.
